On 8 June, Rector of Bolgar Islamic academy Farkhat Khusnutdinov made a working visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan. The rector met with the supreme mufti, chairman of the central spiritual board of muslims of Russia Talgat Khazrat Tadzhuddin. The meeting was also attended by the rector of the Russian Islamic university of the central spiritual directorate of muslims of Russia Artur Suleymanov and the assistant rector of the academy Rustem Gilmutdinov.
During the meeting, the rector of the academy shared the conceptual vision of the medium-term of the Bolgar Islamic academy, also discussed in detail some aspects of the strategic development of the institution. Farkhat Khusnutdinov told mufti Talgat Hazrat in detail about the upcoming activities to improve the scientific and educational activities of the educational organization.
In turn, Talgat khazrat Tadzhuddin told the rector about more than two hundred years of history of the oldest muftiate of the country, the formation of the system of Muslim religious education in Russia in the recent period, as well as assured of comprehensive support for the activities of the Bolgar Islamic academy.
As part of his working visit, the rector also visited the Russian Islamic university of the central department of the ministry of education of the Russian Federation. A tour of the university was organized for him, the head of the academy toured the classrooms, met with the administration and teaching staff of the university.
