Bolgar Islamic Academy holds the summer school for applicants from July 25 to August 3. The school includes organizing the preparation of applicants for admission tests, determining their proficiency level in Arabic, and introducing them to the methods of planning and performing research work.
Future master’s and doctoral students will have the opportunity to learn more about the Academy’s scientific and educational system and substantively prepare for admission tests.
The summer school will be conducted by lecturers of the academy – doctor of sharia sciences Saif al-Asri, doctor of Arabic philology Ahmad Sheikh-Mustafa, doctor of sharia sciences Muhammad al-Zahrawi, doctor of political sciences Rafiq Mukhametshin, sheikh Abdurazzak al-Saadi, as well as a number of other domestic lecturers.
For applicants entering the master’s program, there will be classes in Arabic, Islamic history, Quranic studies and Islamic law.
For applicants entering the doctoral program, there will be additional classes on the methodology of scientific and theological research by sheikh Hamdella Safti, doctor of sharia sciences, head of the department of education and science at the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates (Egypt).
Excursions to the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve and the Museum of Bolgar Civilization are part of a diverse cultural program for participants.
