Professor of the Mohammed Bin Zayed Humanitarian University (Abu Dhabi, UAE), Dr. Muhammad Nuh al-Qudah visited Bolgar Islamic Academy.
Dr. Rustem Gilmutdinov, vice-rector for educational activities of the academy, familiarized the guest with the exposition of Muslim manuscripts and printed books, the work of the laboratory for restoration and digitization of ancient manuscripts, as well as presented the scientific and educational activities of the academy. Dr. Muhammad Nuh al-Qudah also met with foreign teachers of the academy and discussed the peculiarities of their teaching activities within the framework of the Russian system of higher education. It should be noted that the doctor highly appreciated the professional level of the academy’s teaching staff and the quality of educational programs.
Separately, the guest familiarized with the scientific research of master’s and doctoral students of the Academy, showing genuine interest in the topics of research works.
“By the level of training, equipment and teaching, the Bolgar academy rightfully occupies today one of the highest places by world standards”, – expressed his opinion Dr. Muhammad Nuh al-Qudah.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on further cooperation in the preservation and popularization of the national theological heritage. The guest also expressed hope for closer cooperation between the higher educational institutions, including in the field of student exchange and internships.
For reference. Dr. Muhammad Nuh al-Qudah, born June 8, 1969, is a Jordanian Muslim theologian. He served as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the government of Abdullah Ensour (Jordan) and Minister of Sports and Youth in the government of Aoun Al-Khasawneh (Jordan). Since 2021, he lectured at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Humanitarian University.
